| What are Nakhon people's thoughts on the teacher's licence? Does it apply to you? Do you think it's a good/bad thing? Does it make you angry? Does it worry you? Will you have to pay for it or will your school pay for it? Does anyone have information on which direction to take in studying for the test? What do you reckon? | |

| We dont think here in NST, The Thais do that for us... The idea behind the teachers license is very good but the implementation is Thai... Yes, it applies to me too. Good thing. Nothing makes me angry. Nothing makes me worried. Pay for it? It cost money? School have to pay, my salary is low enough, so now I have to pay to teach?HAHA 2 weeks with a bar girl in her home, she will teach you everything you need to know. (Noone knows what the test will be like, since noone knows who will give it).... I recon it will be like before, nothing will happen, but I do hope that I am wrong... It is a good idea... :affraid: | |

| I was actually told to tell all of the teachers that I know in NST about the training program. They were even printing up brochures in the office to today. It's run by Suan Dusit R.B. but will be held here. | |

| You are all so stupid,,, What would be wrong about a trip to Bangkok for the seminar???
Well I do not care where they hold the seminar since I really do not care...
The question is more on who's going to hold it??? Who will the teachers be?
Thais? Foreigners?
What will we learn? Please shed some more light on this...

| Yes, more information please...
We are all dying to know...
BTW.... Since it will be at your school do we all have to fold our hands, pray to the lord and fear him to learn about this???
FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE PATH OF LEARNING (or something like that)

| Yes, all attending the course must convert to Christianity and swear off sex for 3 years..... har har har.
For really though, thems' the details:
The course is 20 hours over 3.5 days, 6 hours per day
Topics listed are:
1. Thai Society 2. Language and Culture 3. Thai Manners 4. Arts and Music 5. Teacher Professional Code of Ethics There will be 2 sessions:
22 - 25 of April 6 - 9 of May
Cost: 8000 Baht
You'll need an application form, diploma (copy is probably OK) and bath-olas when applying.
The topics of study and cost of course deserve all of the rips they get, IMO. So if you have any, please share....
If you have any more questions, I'll try to answer them.
